Actress and producer of several award-winning films, Tanieka is also a singer and songwriter growing in acclaim. Born in the beachy metropolis of Miami, Florida to Mother of Kingston, Jamaica and Father of Georgetown, Guyana, she grew up deeply rooted in culture, inevitably finding herself in either the school choir, theater, dance class, modeling, doing the school news or in performance camps. Tanieka Clarke got her start as an actress  off Broadway as part of a notable showcase where the likes of actors such as Megan Fox, Ser’ Darius Blain (Jumanji), Ben Davies and TC Stallings (War Room) were alumni. There, she was one of only two awarded finalists in the Best Actress category. 

Most recently Tanieka can be seen in “Bae Night” and “Just My Type”  both streaming on Amazon Prime, Google Play and Tubi. Her music can also be heard on all major streaming platforms.

Tanieka has a deep interest in stories that inspire and believes that storytelling through music and film bring change and healing. She is very aware of her role to play the lives of others on screen and desires to be a light that continues to shine bright. Outside of acting and singing, Tanieka is a businesswoman who loves fashion, travel and wellness and relies heavily on her faith in God to define and guide her in her life’s purpose.
